Field trips and Tours
Starting fall 2007 we will give the public the opportunity to tour our soon to be Organic Dairy. A guided tour will introduce you to our cows and a variety of other farm animals.
You will see how cows are milked(if you come when we are milking) our milking times have changed we now milk our cows 2x a day at 5 a.m. and 5 p.m.We will show you what we feed them and where they rest. You will have hands on milking experience. There is a possibility to pet and feed the small animals. These tours will last approximately 1.5hrs and will go thru the milk process from cow to you.
At the end of the tour each visitor will receive a "goody bag" with information sheets, pencil, eraser, key ring, etc.
These tours take place from September 15th trough December 15th 2008 and from January 10th trough April 25th 2009.Tours will be every day of the week.
Costs will be $7.00 per person.
Groups of about 25 please.
